Mining District Pride is incredibly grateful to receive a New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) Que Linda Grant! This funding is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the City of Bayard, Village of Santa Clara, and Town of Hurley by supporting cleanup, beautification, and community improvement projects.
¡Que Linda! means “How beautiful!”—and that’s exactly what we hope to help create throughout the Mining District. Cleaner streets, improved public spaces, cared-for properties, and neighborhoods that make residents feel proud to call this place home.
But this grant is about more than picking up trash or making things look nicer. It’s about community pride, vecinos helping vecinos, and working together to improve the places where we live, work, and raise our families.
Over the coming months, Mining District Pride will be working with local communities, schools, businesses, organizations, and residents to put this funding to work. There will be opportunities to participate in cleanup events, beautification projects, and other activities that help make a visible difference in our communities.
And everyone can play a part. Maybe it’s helping clean up your neighborhood, lending a hand to a neighbor, volunteering at an event, or simply taking a little extra pride in your own property.
Every small effort adds up.
